Military Mumma was founded by ex-navy Kirri Brazendale. Military Mumma is based on the foundation that ‘a strong mind is the foundation to a strong body’. It is a fitness community dedicated to women (and some men), with the goal of helping them to ‘find their happy’. It’s about a team, and empowering and supporting everyone in our community. Our philosophy is based and built on being a place to bring your family and your minis and be able to work out together.
What does Military Mumma specialise in?
We offer fitness services, but from a holistic point of view. We offer a variety of group workouts as well as one on one personal training sessions that are suitable for people of all fitness levels and experience. We also offer specialised programs throughout the year which are tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Military Mumma has multiple qualified personal trainers with a variety of different specialities to suit our different classes and workouts.
Women, men and minis are all welcome!

“Such a great Team to be a part of. Everyone is so welcoming and the trainers are so accommodating. I actually want to go to the “gym” and work out now. I have never been a part of anything that is so team focused, encouraging and most of all fun! MM has got me back on the path of health and fitness after a long recovery from major back surgery.” – Laura Roper
“Men, do not be influenced at all by the name. I am one of the last rites brewery guys who live next door. We train here, if you have any thoughts about improving your health, give it a go. It will be one of the best decisions you have ever made.” – Brett Allchin
“It took me lots of time to work up to actually walking through the doors of Military Mumma, but seriously, I should have done it months ago. I truly don’t know myself since my first visit in July when I started with two sessions a week. Now I’ve joined up for a year and am usually making it to five sessions a week, and am loving how I feel for it. (That isn’t the me of six months ago!)
I would challenge anybody to find a more welcoming and inclusive gym environment. And with Military Mumma daytime classes you don’t need to find someone to take the kids because they are welcomed into the HQ and you get the chance to be the best example for them that you can be.
If you’ve been thinking that maybe you might check MM out, just do it. Pop in and set yourself up with a $20 trial week. You won’t kick yourself that you did, but you might if you don’t.” – Nicola Tilyard
